A Weekend Away
My girlfriend needs to work about 5 weekends a year, which means she is limited to staying in the Madison area. Although we could hang out after she is done with work, I choose to usually head out of the Madison area, and plan my weekend around shooting. I often head to Milwaukee, and shoot Friday night, sunrise Saturday and Sunday, and then plan some other type of shoot during the days and nights of Saturday and Sunday. Although I have limited myself to Milwaukee during these weekends and the few Chicago day trips, I would really like to get out in the beautiful state of Wisconsin and explore some more of this amazing state during these weekends. Although I do not like exploring without my lady by my side, I think these mini exploration/ photography trips will allow me to bring some great new content to this blog and the people that enjoy following my work.
The weekend of 2/17 to 2/19, I was out shooting in the MKE area and took a day trip to Chicago on Sunday with a buddy (@me_mke_Mike; Instagram). Friday consisted of Sunset in and around the Milwaukee area, a new location for sunrise (failed), and then Chicago. Below are my pictures from my weekend of photography.
