Land of Clear Blue Waters
Since moving to Madison, I have quickly grown to enjoy this city. I knew moving here there would be a few things that I would miss in Milwaukee. One of them being Lake Michigan. Living on the East Side of Milwaukee and being able to see that giant lake daily was one of my favorite things in the world. From its ever changing ice mounds in the winter, to the packed beaches in the summer, and the secret spots along the lakefront to photograph the sunrise and sunsets. I always felt that a lot of Milwaukee's never truly appreciate Lake Michigan. Moving to Madison I knew I would be close to two bodies of water, Lake Mendota and Lake Monona. I have been searching google maps like crazy to find places on the water to shoot, and I finally found a few things. These lakes have a lot to offer.
Here a few of the shots at sunset.
